Hey, I'm

Utkarsh Jha

I build for the web, mostly the backend kind.

Backend and full-stack engineer, class of 2025, with three apps already live and surviving real users. I like building things people actually use, and keeping them that way.

04 About

I'm Utkarsh, a backend and full-stack engineer from India. I like the server side, the APIs and the quiet machinery underneath a product that decides whether it holds up when people actually lean on it. C++ and Linux feel like home, and I care less about whether something compiles than about how it behaves once it's out in the world.

Mostly, I just like building things and watching them work. I learn by making, by breaking what I made and figuring out why, and most of what I can do came from that rather than from a classroom. I'd rather understand a system all the way down than glue pieces together and hope, and I have a soft spot for tools that are honest about what they don't know.
